Yeah i get the message. It's just like the gahmen asking us for our opinion on whether we should have casino in Singapore or not. In actual fact, the gahmen already made up their mind long ago about the matter. They are just asking for people's opinion for the fun of it? I can't quite find the exact words to phrase their intention. They just want to be seen as a gahmen that consults its people over major issues like the casino and its regulations?
i agree with u to a certain extent... wat my brother and i agree upon is that the gahmen wants to mitigate the negative impacts brought about by the building of a casino. they r building it. tats for sure.
Wat bothers me is that if one day, prostitution can bring greater foreign exchange and boost teh tourism industry, will a MegaWhoreHouse be built here? And citizens 'consulted' like now?
Sorry for adding a nightmare to our list of nightmares...
Maybe they wun call it MegaWhoreHouse; they name it as Integrated Entertainment Centre.. It bothers me just even to think of it...
